NXTLOG 5000 Winner!!!

And the winner of the 5000th NXTLOG entry is: mezzauk and his Creation: Mars Explorer Mk1 with Lander(PF Inc)

 

His Creation Defiantly deserves #5000 Here is Part of his description go HERE to see more of it.

 

“This is my first NXT project. It is a simple explorer with a PF enabled Lander. The explorer begins by ordering the lander to lowering both sides then the front so it can exit. I had a medium PF motor spare so quickly stuck a small radar/communication tower at the back - it rotates whilst the left, right and front are deployed.

The explorer has all sensors built in but of course only 4 work depending on which program I choose to use. I am working on 3 programs 1st - will use the light, compass, IR distance sensor and Pf Sensors. 2nd - light, compass, IR and ultrasonic sensors and finally Compass, IR, Ultrasonic and Touch.

My main program uses the light sensor to locate the brightest source using the turntable, record the compass heading and use the heading to navigate to the light source…” More

    By far one of the most creative use of the power functions usage that i have seen. even though he says that there are many cons to his design, which design doesn’t?

    That is amazing. I cant believe this is his first. It is absolutly wikid. Well done on winning the nxtlog 5000.

    I’m sorry to get off topic, but this is kind urgent. All the lego websites except lego shop aren’t flaky for me. Does anybody else have this same problem? Is it a bug that lego has?

    do you mean that the sites work somtimes and not the other? i am having the same problem and i am using firefox, i can use internet explorer and it is just fine it may just be firefox
