ATC – (A)ll (T)errain (C)rawler

This is a sturdy little robot that I made a while ago that can get over anything. Well, not exactly, but it can get over dictionaries! It has 4 treads that can pivot freely, enabling it to have great traction when driving over books etc. Here’s the movie:

Great job! I’m surprised how easily it climbed over.

Thanks ro1000 and snowblader13! Yeah, I tried to make it steer to after I built this one, but that didn’t work!

Hi all, i may have found a way to make NXTmonger’s ATC turn!
have a look at leggor.de webpage, it’s german but you can always use bablefish to translate if needed, he has designed a double pivot system which should adapt quite well to your design.. get an idea from http://www.leggor.de/content/4x4x4/4x4x43.html
BTW this guy has a wealth of idea worth checking out. enjoy.
